Have an Impact - Healers of the Valley

Life is bigger than you, make an impact!Make an Impact

I think it is easy to get so busy and caught up in "life" that we forget to step back, find a quiet place, and listen to our inner wisdom telling us there is something much bigger than us. Neale Donald Walsh, the author of Conversations with God, once said: "Your life is not about you, it is about everyone else around you, and how you impact them."  It doesn't matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs may be; this statement has significant implications.

What if you made a conscious choice to live as though the only purpose you had was to impact others? Would you become a better person? Would you act differently, or look at loved ones in a new light? What if the key to happiness was merely taking this statement and making it your mantra?

There are a lot of things that surround us that show humanity is fragile, easily swaying us toward aggression, fear, and hatred. There are also plenty of situations we can find that show humanity at it's best. People are helping each other, even at the threat of risking themselves. Or kindness for the sake of goodness alone.

Don't let the fast pace of life rob you of the moments where you make a difference in someone's life. Make it a positive impact through the most potent energy in the world; love. It is amazing what happens when you send out such strong power to every person you meet. Something as simple as a smile can make someone's day, and they pass it forward for a ripple effect. Suddenly 4 or 5 lives are changed for the better because of your beautiful gift.

Life is made of experiences that test our strength and endurance, yet it doesn't have to full of pain and turmoil. By sending out love you receive love in return, it's an inevitable law of the universe. The next time a situation appears where you usually would be angry, stop and take a moment to fill the space with love. Now respond with your heart and see how much of a difference it makes not only in your life but the lives of those around you!
